Unit 2 aims at providing the study skills you will need when reading and understanding academic texts.
With this unit you should learn to: read specific texts (guides, programmes, forms, articles, etc.); take notes about main messages, key-words/sentences, discourse markers, and identify specific information in the texts; re-order a jumbled text; identify different typologies of texts; analyse a text, summarising the major points in it. |
