The Project
Contents

The project offers innovative didactic materials in the form of a software product based on two on-line teaching modules specifically designed for mobility students.

 
The 2 modules, divided into eight units (4 in Module 1 and 4 in Module 2), must be carried out in a 20 hour + 20 hour time span of self-study. The topics are:

Module 1:
Unit 1: Meeting on campus 
              - Language functions: asking for and coping with academic information
Unit 2: Study skills 
               - Language functions: (note-taking in academic contexts, e.g.: seminars, conferences);
Unit 3: Academic courses on line 
              - Language functions: (describing academic qualifications and choosing an international academic course on line, searching for academic information on line, filling in a form);
Unit 4: Curriculum Vitae 
              - Language functions: (writing a CV);

Module 2:
Unit 5: Oral presentations 
               - Language functions: (preparing for and delivering an oral presentation);
Unit 6: Academic seminars 
              - Language functions: (understanding content, note-taking and reporting);
Unit 7: Off campus 
              - Language functions: (asking for and coping with cultural aspects);
Unit 8: Jobs on line 
              - Language functions: (learning how to apply for a job on line).
