Concrete aims of the project.
The project has developed a multilingual e-learning environment that allows exchange students to develop and improve their academic language skills consistently with their needs in the trans-national higher education contexts.
The multilingual e-learning environment includes two parts:
• the academic language learning materials
• the information part.
The academic language learning programme contains two academic modules divided into four didactic units (per each module) which provide exchange students the possibility of acquiring specific skill-based competence through tasks, activities and a glossary are all located on the CMC website with a common academic template for all partners.
The information programme provides information about the exchange universities (accommodation, social events, health insurance etc.) and countries (cultural differences, customs etc.).
This is perceived by means of:
a) a students’ notice-board which allows students to carry out discussion on all questions relating to the programme, university courses, ideas, opinions, suggestions etc.,
b) a forum on language problems supervised by a tutor for each language.
