The project is based on a Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) approach in order to allow students to acquire academic contents and skills alongside linguistic abilities.
A topic-oriented approach selects major themes from the students’ specialist studies and offers the analysis and practice of specific language, such as appropriate syntax, technical lexicon, and accurate style.
Pedagogic tasks often involve opinion-gap, reasoning-gap and information-transfer activities and create the appropriate challenge in order to maintain students’ interest.
