The objective of the project is to enable university students to improve the quality of their linguistic knowledge as required in trans-national higher education contexts. Specifically, the project has produced innovative language materials that are designed by a partnership made up of six university institutions located in England, Holland, Italy, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain.

As a target group the project addresses mobility students who wish to carry out a university experience abroad and, thus, need to master essential academic language skills. Activities within the project include the production of on-line language modules that cover both content and language skills as related to the academic environment.

The contents are two modules of eight units, produced in the six languages, based on a thematic-oriented approach, and a notice-board where students can exchange opinions, provide suggestions, ask for advice.

In social terms, the project aims at promoting linguistic and cultural diversity as a means for developing solidarity among young people and knowledge of the culture of other countries.
